Mr. Arduino Head

Mr. Arduino Head is an exercise in electronic sketching.

After going through a number of blinking light tutorials I wanted to use the simplest components possible to create an emotional object. I chose a button, a knob (potentiometer), two lights (LEDs) for eyes, and a speaker (piezo buzzer) for a mouth. The goal was to create an open platform for experimentation so the object has a USB port coming out of the back that can be plugged in and used to give new instructions.

Mr. Arduino Head, as it is coded right now, will wake up slowly and beep when he is ready to interact with. The user can interact by rotating the knob to change the frequency with which Mr. Arduino Head sings or push the button to have it sing a pre determined song.
